Dominic Cardy
Dominic Cardy, born in the UK in 1970 and raised in Fredericton, has dedicated his life to public service and political innovation. With a B.A. in Political Science from Dalhousie University, Dominic’s career spans roles in the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, and the Forum of Federations. Elected as the Progressive Conservative MLA for Fredericton West-Hanwell in 2018, he served as Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development until 2022. Dominic’s leadership is characterized by his commitment to evidence-based policies and a vision for a stronger, more resilient Canada.
